Equipment and Installation

Whether built for the 21st century or reminiscence of yesterday, satellite brings the technology you expect to the room guests call home. Satellite installed in older buildings is easily integrated to new technology using the existing wiring. Cost of the equipment and installation varies from property to property. We will be happy to help you discover which satellite network is best for you.

Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV), also called a Headend, is the most common type of distribution. Typically, a Headend is used when the number of channels to be delivered is less than the total number of rooms. A Headend provides an economic advantage to the property while also seamlessly integrating the local in-market off-air channels. The guest operates the television as normal.

A Headend is made up of one satellite receiver and one video modulator for each satellite channel being delivered. Typically, the cost for a headend is approximately $550-$650 per satellite channel. (Prices are based on an estimation of equipment and labor costs. Actual price of equipment and installation is determined by programming choices and a site survey).

New technology provides the owner an affordable single wire solution, and offers guests more channels, more choices and more movies. With our system, there is typically no need to rewire a buildings existing RG59 or RG6 cable, saving thousands of dollars in installation costs.

Dish Network uses Commercial 2800 model receivers. The software download capability of the 2800 offers updated technology to be received without conflict or loss of service. We guarantee the most efficient receiver available. The receivers will be fitted to a rack panel customized for your needs.

North Bay Satellite and DishNetwork programming equipment. The SMATV (Headend) combined with DishNetwork 2800 receivers installs easily into any building. The technology and options have a reliability and satisfaction unmatched by the few alternatives. North Bay Satellite and DishNetwork offer the best choice in commercial television programming and equipment.
